With some dresses you could use dress shields, right?

What is a dress shield?

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

I this a dress shield is an absorbent pad that you can stick onto the sleeve of your dress so that it will absorb any extra armpit sweat.

Reading in Brides magazine that you can have your Doc prescribe Drysol or Xerac AC. They say its strong so test them out in advance of the wedding day, or over0the-counter deodorants like Certain Dri.

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

ok ive been using degree clinical strength, it does work but i am going to stop using it...it gives me the same feeling i had when i used to use certain dri...its hard to explain but that area becomes so dry and im afraid of having skin discoloration again, which happened with certain dri...BUT unlike certain dri, degree clinical strength there is absolutely no itching, no sharp pinching pains or anything like that...its not bad at all degree but also i dont want to use 18% aluminum deodorant right now if i dont really need to, its definitely good if you want to use it the day of or the week of

just 1 thing i strongly suggest is please please DONT use certain dri for the first time the day of or even the week of...you will spend your time scratching non-stop and you get a tingly sensation and also these pinching pains for the first few weeks so you dont want to deal with that

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

I dress shield is a small piece of material that you can sew (or velcro I suppose) into the sleeves of a dress.

Never used one, but I've seen them used.

I have to say, i paid 10 bucks for that deoderant, and it was the WORST, i know so many people rave about it, but it actually did nothing for me, i still was sweating and it stained my clothes white

i know it did nothing for me..i tried the degree one also and same results
