LOL.. I am the worst with that... Once it starts its the only thing I can think of... I don't care what happens under the dress I would just like to avoid the layer of moisture on my arms and shoulders haha... maybe I will ask my DOC to follow me around with a sweat rag lol
I don't have any advice, but I can sympathize. FH can sweat from walking from one room to another. :(

Re: Sweaty brides
I was pretty sweaty on my wedding day. Getting ready I was ok - had the AC in the room going so I wasn't too terrible. But once we got to the hall It was sweaty city. BUT it was freezing out. At first I was mad it was so cold but then was very thankful for the Cool down breaks outside.
Only advice to you is KEEP HYDRATED. If you sweat too much, make-up coming off is the least of your problems. Drink ICE COLD water. That's help cool you down. Also put ice cubes on your wrists - that helps a lot too.
I had airbrush make-up and at one point my face looked like someone poured water over it and it didn't budge!!!!

I'm considering botox in my armpits (if my mom sponsors it, of course )
I've heard amazing things about this !

I seriously sweat like a man. It's kinda nasty sometimes. Even in the winter! Anyway, I discussed this with my dermatologist and she is giving me a prescription for a pill to take the day of the wedding. It's going to help control the sweating since I sweat everywhere. She says it works really well and I trust her. I'm happy about this since I'm getting married in July and we are hoping for an outdoor ceremony! Plus pics outside!!!

I need to know what this pill is! There are times the excessive sweating is just out of hand
But did she mention trying this pill BEFORE the wedding a few times just to be sure you don't have some sorta weird reaction the day of? I would ask her.

No dermatologist should be dishing out botox for sweating just b/c - cronic sweating is actually a disease and I wouldn't do such drastic measures just for your wedding day.
For the underarms there are plenty of prescription type antiperserants and other OTC things that you can get.
Unless you have a chronic sweating problem no derm should go the botox route.
I only say that b/c my mom works at a derm and they get people ALL the time asking for it when its not needed. Some people even get it in their feet since some have seriously sweaty feet.

Re: Sweaty brides
My thighs meet so sometimes, they sweat. To avoid this, I put antiperspirant on them (where they touch).
I did it on my wedding day and I do it when I go out in the summer when I wear a dress.
Does the trick!
