Sweet flashback!

So I had a long drive to work today (I left my work keys so I had to drive back home- oh Monday mornings!), and Colbie Caillat's Fallin' For You came on the radio and I had a flashback to when FH first stated dating. I went away with some friends- FH and I were dating for about a month at this point. I remember missing FH all throughout the trip. On the way home that exact song came on the radio and I had an oh $hit moment! I remember the words fitting how I felt to a tee! It was the exact moment that I realized that I was falling in love with FH.

It's so awesome to think back to that moment and see just how far we've come. I'm such a sap when it comes to things like this! Figured I'd share, since I'm sure you lovely ladies can relate!

Anyone else have a mushy story or moment?

Sweet flashback!

Awww this is so sweet!!! I love it <3

FH and I moved super slow in the beginning. We were together for a year and 3 months before we used the 'L word'.... and I had to say it first! I remember feeling like I couldn't hold it in anymore and felt so sure about it that I just had to say it. We were in his pickup and it was pouring rain. I asked him to pull over and I just started telling him how I feel about him and how much he means to me... and then blurted out 'I love you'. He started crying and said it back... FH isn't very vocal about feelings or emotion. He is one of those people who feels like he doesn't have to say it often because he always tries to show it (don't know if that makes sense?)... so the fact that he cried meant so much to me because I knew that it was genuine. I feel like such a cornball as I type all of this lol

I normally can't either. Until this morning I wouldn't have been able to tell when I fell in love. But I'm glad I had the flashback!

I don't remember the exact moment but I know the exact moment I knew I was going to marry Fh. He was playing with my niece and I could just envision him playing with our child.

Sweet flashback!

Umm, I think we were in the car at the same time, because I heard the song on the radio this morning too, and remember thinking how this song always makes me think about how I fall in love with FH every day for a new reason. (I know, super sappy...lol)

I remember the moment I knew that FH was the man for me. It was actually before we started dating. We'd hooked up a few times, and I thought I didn't want a relationship. He had recently gotten back together with his then-gf, and it was Valentine's Day. I wasn't upset at him or anything (I had just thought he was going to be a 'couple of hook ups' kind of guy), but I was just super depressed about being alone. He called me and insisted I walk outside. He had a bouquet of roses, and said 'Every girl should get flowers on Valentine's Day'. I walked back inside, and just knew that he was the one I was going to end up with.

Sweet flashback!

Whenever FH and I do a double feature at the movies... it reminds me of our second date where we saw two movies (Real Steel and The Thing) and he bought me Michaelangelo (yes TMNT) gloves from comic-con after only having one date with me... and it was our first kiss. In the middle of a sentence.

Also.. everytime I hear our song (Good Thing by reel big fish) I get all warm and fuzzy because we went to that concert about a month in to dating and when that song came on he hugged me from behind and then spun me around to dance and that was the moment I knew I was falling in love with the man.

Also... michele... I said I love you first also. Like... two months in to dating when he carried my dog downstairs when she was sick and we had to put her down. He drove from brentwood to ronkonkoma to just carry her and put her in the car and then back to brentwood. As I was leaving his house he hugged me and I just blurted out 'I love you' and his response was 'Can a gay person wear a straight jacket??' and kissed me.
