Sweetheart table arrangement question ($) UPDATED AT BOTTOM

I want this arrangement for our sweetheart table, however I have to supply the candles.

Is $61.98(including shipping and handling) a good or not so good price for the following?:

4- 3'X6' pillars (3.50 each)
4- 3'x9' pillars (3.99 each)
2- 3'x12' pillars (6.49 each)

I like that arrangement. I would do a thorough search on google and I would talk to a florist. Maybe they can get them cheaper.

I would wait for the Michael's sale before christmas...you can get pillar candles 1/2 off, and they have a ton of sizes....you have plenty of time, so I would def. wait for a sale.

I got all my votive candles (one per guest) at Michael's for $150 including the glass holders...I had 175 guests..they were 1/2 off, plus an additional 25% discount on the entire order.

Luminere (sp?) is about to have their anniversary sale and they have some really nice candles.

I think it starts August 21st, so if there is one near you, you might want to check it out.

You can definately get the candles cheaper- try maces closeout or even Michaels has them on sale cheaper right now.

Thanks to you and hearzbellz, I went to Michael's today and although the candles weren't the same size, the prices were insane.

I got 2 - 3'x9' candles for 1.00 each (I realized when I got home that they rang up wrong because they were supposed to be 3.00 each,) 4-3'x6' candles for $2 each, and 4- 3'x3' candles for $1 each. So for FOURTEEN bucks, I got my candles!!!!! Thanks girls!!!

good for you!
be careful storing them though, sicen you have a while, keep them wrapped separatley, & some place with ventilation.

I couple of years ago I purchased a bunch of white candles from Target that were really cheap (because they were white). If you look around, you should be able to get a better price.
