ETA: were doing the sweetheart, just didn't know whhat the head table is.......at the NRC, theres actually a raised section for the sweetheart table and we want to be in the middle and sitting alone.....BP will sit with their dates/bfs/FW/whatever they are

i was at a head table at a wedding once and i think it stinks for those ppl bc they can't sit with their dates. I want everyone to be able to sit with their significant others. plus i think the sweetheart table is cute

Sweetheart - because I know that will be the only time amongst the craziness that FH will be able to sit down to enjoy ourselves together during dinner where we can talk amongst ourselves (other than the limo ride - we are having a formal sit down dinner...no dancing, dj, etc for 1.5 hours)

Haroula - a head table is a dais....where the bride and groom sit in the middle with the BP members on either side of them.

sweetheart because I just want it to be FH and I.....all eyes on me, lol totally kidding. a main reason for not doing the dais is because we have some people who are married in our bp and I don't think that it's right to separate them. Especially for those who don't really know anyone else at the wedding at least they'll get to sit next to there significant other.

We did the sweetheard table, it was the best idea ever! It was nice to have these few minutes alone here and there.

I like the idea of the sweethear table, but I've heard that you are more likely to be interrupted by people coming up to you while you are trying to eat, spend time with DH, than if you were seated at a table with other people. I wouldn't separate anyone from their dates, but am thinking about doing FH and I, and our siblings and sibling-in laws at a table . . . bad idea?

I am doing the sweet heart table. I dont think people do the head table as much anymore. I am seating the bridal party together though, but I am including their significant other.
