Re: SWIFFER??

Re: SWIFFER??
Honestly, I love my shark steam mop. But when I'm too lazy to use it, I use my swiffer with the hardwood floor cleaner.

Re: SWIFFER??
I use both wet and dry for my cleanings in between mopping. It really helps and smells great. BUT - if I remember correctly you have a dog? Swiffer wet-jet in particular is toxic to animals so please don't use it!

Re: SWIFFER??
I always vacuum my would floors since I think it picks up more than a swiffer. When cleaning them I used to use warm water with a splash of amonia and a mop.... but now I have a steam mop.

The Shark steamer is definitely better but the swiffer does the job much quicker. I use both, Swiffer once a week and the Shark when I do a real heavy cleaning

Thanks for that! But I <3 my dog too much to take any chance at all. If it even happened to one person that's enough for me! (I'm a freak about my pup, please excuse me!)

Yeah, the Swiffer pads are just moist from the cleaning stuff on them, but not drenched or anything
Good call... i actually put extra cleaning stuff in the plastic container... because the pad always seems to dry out after only doing a small part of the floor... and its easier than pouring the liquid on the floor inself...

I have 2 dogs and use my swiffer wetjet all the time. They are still alive and kicking!
I use my steam mop on the floors all the time. It dries quickly enough that it won't cause any damage and it's not like soaking wet after all. I also use swiffer wetjet on the floors- the one with the dry pads and the sprayer. They actually have a spray specifically for wood floors.

Re: SWIFFER??
I like the swifter...fh hates it...he'd rather just mop. Honestly, a regular mop cleans better than the swifter...
I have heard great things about the steam mop. I want this for my shower. I heard the shark is good.

Re: SWIFFER??
I've used the steam mop, swiffer wet and dry pads. nothing ruined the floors.
