Anyone freaking out about this? I live by St. Francis Prep, the school they closed down. Also FH is coming home tonight from a business trip and although it's only from NC I'm still nervous about him having to go through an airport. This is crazy!
My friend's sister works at Prep and she has it. She didn't even teach the kid who brought it back. I'll tell you the truth... I'll take it if it means I don't have to teach for a few days!
I think the news is making this into a bigger deal then it really is. I mean im no expert so I admit I have no idea what I am talking about... buuuut... In mexico 100 something people died out of a thousand or so reportedly infected. It was something like a 10-13% mortality rate... and honestly they do not have the same health care as we do and those people may have waited until the last minute to get treated, if they were even treated at all. There have been no deaths in the US so far from this, its a much milder strand.. I might be misinformed as I haven't read anything on this since like 9 am.. but I just think the news takes whatever they can and turns it into a huge fiasco. Just take some precautions, wash your hands more etc..

ITA!! The media always blows thins out of proportion! Look at how they react if we are going to get some snow or even a little thunder storm!
