I wouldn't rule mexico out unless u want to book right now. You have 10 months till ur wedding. I'm sure things will be resolved by then. (health wise that is)

I wouldnt go now. But if I had a planned trip for next year I'd keep it. This will blow over soon.

I agree with most. This will def blow over by next year. It spreads like the regular flu and there is no difference between what they are getting in Mexico vs. what people are coming down with in NYC. The biggest difference is that we have access to better health care and we live differently, so people aren't dying here. I wouldn't worry too much. As long as you aren't going in the next couple of months, I think you are good.

I am currently living in MEXICO. You will be absolutely FINE coming here if you're honeymoon is in a few months to a year! There is no reason to cancel your honeymoon if it's that far in advance. The media has hyped this up way too much. I am a medical student here and honestly if your honeymoon was right now I would prob not come just because you would be overly worried, however if it is in a few months you should be fine. This is a flu and you get it by being in close quarters with the infected or in close contact with surfaces that are infected. As long as you wash your hands frequently and stay away from sick people there is no reason to panic. Mexico is a beautiful country to vacation too as long as precautions are taken.
