Has anyone switched their fortunoff registry to bed bath? I am probably going to end up doing this because the whole back order thing is really killing me. I know my shower won't be till summer but some of the stuff says it won't be in till May and then at that point who knows if it will be in at all! I just hate to have to go through the whole process again of picking stuff out.
I am just double exposing the items that both stores carry. Other then that I am leaving the other stuff at Fortunoff. I think it will be fine and a lot of the back order is for online purchases not instore.
a lot of girls have mentioned switching on here previously, but I have not switched mine yet - I will if it really becomes a major issue though. I keep hoping they'll get their act together..
Yes!! I switched most of my stuff over I only left a couple of items on fortunoff that BBB didn't carry!! Not only were things on bakcorder but a bunch of things were discontinued!!
I switched my stuff! one day it would be there and the next gone till June! My shower is April 12th!! I couldn't deal with that. So I switched whatever I could to BBB.
I will be switching. Probably next month
Yeah I looked again today and almost my entire registry is on back order till may and a piece of my good china is discontinued and I am worried that if they say it will be available in May it really won't be available till the summer and I don't want to chance it. I checked and most of the stuff on my registry they have at BBB I just hate the fact of having to go through the process of switching.
we swithched from fortunoffs to macys, we also have a bbb one
we did really easy. we signed up for macys online. we lookes at fortuoffs and then at macys ans added it that way. they pretty much had the same items.
I have both, i went to register at Macy's instead but i didn't find too much!
I am registered at potterybarn and fortunoff, i know that i will keep pottery but I am looking on BBB now and really they have the same stuff if not more on there.
I have the same problem. my wedding isn't until June but stuff on my registry is on backorder till may and june. I am getting so mad. i don't have time to go rescan everything at a new store. i work alot. i only have every other mon, friday and every other weekend off.
We moved over what we could, but there's some stuff I want that we can only get at Fortunoff.
I think its too late for me to switch.... but i'd still hold on. From now until your shower, items from anywhere will probably become discontinued and you'll have to find substitutes anyway. But i think from now until then, fortunoff's will straighten themselves out and you won't be so stressed.... at least thats what i'm hoping!
