SWR: Buying a dress from e-bay (long-ish)

I went to Filene's last night with my mom to pick up a dress I saw there last week for my shower.

Well, I wound up also buying a dress for my bachelorette party AND a dress to wear to FBIL's wedding in August.

I fell in LOVE- so cute.

It is a Kay Unger dress, knee length with yellow and white stripes, strapless, empire waist with a yellow grosgrain ribbon at the waist. Its so cute and perfect for their beach ceremony and easygoing reception (the guys are wearing tan suits)...

Anyway, this dress retailed for over $300 last season, I bought it for $99, and now, while trying to find a picture of it online to show my cousin, I found someone on ebay selling it for $24.99!!! They only had one at the store- a size 12, which was a bit too big, but I think a long line bra will fill it in perfectly. The one on ebay is also a 12. . .

Should I return the one I bought and take a chance on the ebay one? The seller admits there are a few snags (the dress is silk chiffon) but the one I bought at Filene's had a few snags as well, but they are really unnoticable and the dress was too cute to pass up....

I don't know why buying off of ebay makes me nervous...

snags can make the fabric look funny and not sit right, I wouldn't take the chance and return a dress or invest Money into another presons dress when you already have a perfect un-worn dress.. JMO

OMG- I know!! I love it!! I wish it fit a litle better, but I think I'm going to try to have my aunts MIL take it in (she is a seamstress at Macys)
