Hi-- I'm not sure if this belongs on this board or not--
FH and I just booked our honeymoon on Princess--we're cruising around Alaska. We're psyched!
However neither of us have ever been on a cruise before-- I understand that on many ships there are no clocks/clock radios in the cabin?
How do you know what time it is? Can you get a 'wake up call' like in a hotel? or do we need to bring a travel alarm clock (our cell phones alarms won't work properly there).
Thanks for you help--

Re: SWR: Cruise Ships (honeymoon)
We brought a travel alarm clock (after the first time that we went and couldn't tell what time of day it was because we had an interior room).
The first time I went, without an alarm clock, we left the tv on our favorite channel, front of the boat tv, so we could tell what the weather was and if it was day or night

We literally JUST got back this weekend from an Alaskan cruise on Princess. Which ship are you going on? I have some pics in my community album.
There was no clock in our cabin, and I had forgotten to bring a travel clock. But you can get a wake up call.
FM me if you want any more info, like I said, we just got back from the Princess on Saturday.

I have been on many cruises and can't remember seeing a clock but we always knew what time it was.... You can use your phone for wake up calls, like hotels...

Re: SWR: Cruise Ships (honeymoon)
There are no clocks in the cabin, but they are around the ship. Will you have a watch on? You can also get wake up calls on your phone. It is very easy to do.
