SWR: Facials

So what do I expect??? Will my face be red?

Never had a facial before..Also, how much do you tip?

It's a 1 hour facial $50 (but it's a spa week special)

I forget how much I tipped..

my face was not red at all..

but I felt incredibely greasy from all the stuff they put on my face.

I'm not prone to breakouts, but I washed my face as soon as I got home anyway.

I've heard a lot of people break out after.

I did a $50 facial once during spa week at Red door. It's was relaxing, but they didn't even do extractions. Meh.

if you dont get extractions and some kind of enzyme exfoliation you wont be glowing.... Since its only 50 dollars maybe ask them?

I did break out after every single facial I've ever had. Worse than any other breakout I've had. Just an FYI, it does happen.

maybe this is why my face looks like a hot mess!

i've been doing a bunch of facials for prep for the wedding and my face wasn't really red. Except for the extractions but overall it was fine.

i just did a micro-peel last week and my face was not red at all. i think your face will be fine! where are you going?

i forgot to mention tip. i tip 15-20% of the original cost of what the facial would've been if it wasn't spa week

I tend to break out. I think I might have roseacea though and I forget to tell the that.I broke out for a week after the last one! But I could feel that my skin was getting congested, which is why I had the facial. Now it looks fine. I don't think I will get any more facials before the wedding! Too risky!

I get facials every 3 months, and by far the best was at the Borgata- and they did no extractions! Her name is Charlotte, and I loved it!I am trying to figure out a way of getting back there for my Sept facial

I get facials once a month and sometimes i am red right after. I would say dont get it to close to your date because you really dont know how your skin is going to react. I always tip her $10 because i go all of the time.
