SWR: i got a job!

yay! i'll be making a real salary now so i can actually PAY for the wedding!

i'll be working at ps 77 in brooklyn as a special ed teacher - maybe in the theater dept (they're not sure yet). i sent in my resume, got called the next day for an interview, interviewed a week later, and was hired on the spot! everyone there was so nice to - i'm really looking forward to starting. and i can't wait to be back in brooklyn!

sorry for the randomness, just had to share!

what do you want to teach? if you're not against it, i'd say go for the city. most positions don't open until late july/august when people quit, but getting everything out there now can't hurt either. i customized my cover letter to each school which i'd recommend a lot b/c it shows you're interested. good luck!
