SWR: SKIN! My face is such a mess lately.

Because I'm a moron and I've been letting myself get upset lately, I'm swollen and puffy around the eyes and lips, but soooooo dry everywhere else. Even scaly on the bridge of my nose.

How do you calm your face? Any special masks, home remedies, etc?

Thanks

i have very sensitive skin so i use a cleansing wash twice daily... when i wake up or after i take my morning shower and then at night before bed. i use baby wipes with aloe to take my make up off, wash my face with the cleanser (which is neutrogena anti-acne facial cleanser-- it is a clear bottle, bright orange gel inside with a white squeeze bottle top)... i put a little in my hand, let the water run on it to suds it up and put it on my face-- then i wash it off and dry with a towel... then to moisturize I use curel (which I find to be the best moisturizer)... Vinny likes Aveeno-- both curel and aveeno are recommended by my dermo along with the neutrogena so either way!

and that's all i do-- if you do it everyday, it will work great. to get rid of the puffy eyes either cucumbers on them or tea-bags-- or you could even boil water, take a towel and place it over your head and steam your face-- it's like your own facial.

i also recommend facials from a salon once in a while-- that along with being religious about the daily cleansing-- will give you great skin!

You sound like you're having extreme stress. That can make your face respond the way it is. You gotta try to relax and do like STB said try a facial/manicure/pedicure it might help relax you.
