So, I have not spoken to 1 of my bridesmaids since my wedding. We didn't really have a falling out, she just kinda wrote me off months before my wedding because she got a new boyfriend. She has a hstory of this-gets with someone new & drops her friends & then remembers them when the new guy breaks up with her.
Anyway, she has moved since my wedding. I do have an email & a phone number for her, but would rather not make contact.
Am I a terrible person for not even attempting to send her a thank you?
Also...her boyfriend suddenly couldn't make it 2 days before the wedding.

Re: SWR: Thank you card dilema ( kinda long)
I'm sorry you're in this situation but unfortuantely IMO I think you should at least try...I'd write a quick, short, to the point e-mail asking for her address and then you leave it up to her what happens next

Tara, I would just send her one for the sake of the fact that at least she was in your bridal party...
I have a Christmas card from an @zz family dilemma...on NWR.

I have to agree with the other ladies. Drop her a quick email that since she moved you don't have her new address and could she send it to you. If you are truly afraid of opening up the lines of communication maybe you could contact her parents for her new address instead.

yup i agree with the others. word is simple:
Hey, How's it going? Hope you're well. It's been crazy the past few months, and now the holidays! Just checking my address book and realized I don't have your new one, and wanted to send you a TY card. Please send it back to me when you get a chance.
Thanks Beans

i'd go with this, because it specifically states the reason for the email: you want her address for the purpose of sending a ty card. this doesn't leave your intention open to 'interpretation' and her thinking that you're looking to be friends.
i hope i explained that right
i, too, am sorry that she's been this kind of 'friend' to you.
