well FH and I have recently bought a condo last nite we were talking about our decorating plans and i am debating whether or not we should have a TV in the master bedroom. I'm kinda on the fence about it. We will be having TVs in the 2 other bedrooms and in the living room, is it really needed? of course FH feels it is, im sure he would want xbox in there too but thats not happening anyways- for all you girls who live with FH already or who have thought about this, what do ya think?? im curious as to other peoples opinions thanks!

I would want a TV in the bedroom. FH and I both live at home and at my house, I have a tv in my room, but at his he has a tv that doesn't work well so it really doesn't count. I love having the tv in the room because a lot of the time I just wanna stay snuggled in bed with him but when family guy comes on, we have to leave his comfy bed and go to the living room to watch it. I also always fall asleep watching tv on the couch and having to be woken up and brought back into the room would be eliminated if I had already fell asleep in the room (I have a very hard time falling asleep so this is a big deal for me). And I agree with the point made that when you want to stay home and veg in bed, you'll be missing the tv.

I have a tv in our bedroom. Sometimes, he watches paintball and I need to watch DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, so it works that way too.

I'm also on the fence with this one. I think maybe we'll start off without one? I'm a huge tv person though so if NEED be we can always put one in. I kinda like the idea of not having one in there though. . .

Well personally I have always had a TV in my bedroom so I am just used to it and would want it. But i do know others who hate having it in their bedroom...If it bothers you that much then talk to him and let him know how you feel...You said you have 2 other bedrooms, well what about making one room his entertainment room, unless you are going to use it for something else

yeaa, problem is im not sure if i want it or not.... im not totally against it cuz like u said, im so used to having it my whole life.... yea, so far one of the other rooms is his entertainment room....xbox in the bedroom i am definitely against hahaa... thanks for your opinions girls!

My vote....Definately a TV in the bedroom!

WELL if he has his own entertainment room then he doesnt need the x-box in the bedroom.

I've always had a tv in the bedroom as well as FH. Most of the time we watch it in the living room, but at night before we go to bed we always cuddle and watch some t.v there. I also find that it takes my mind elsewhere, so I am not thinking so much.

We have one in the bedroom.
Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. I like it because then we can lie in bed and chill and watch tv, right before we go to sleep. I don't like it because as soon as he enters the bedroom, he turns on the tv and it's like I have to work a little too hard to get his attention on me and away from the tv. Overall though I'm glad we have one in the bedroom, but sometimes I wish we didn't (sorry I guess I'm no help!)

I need a TV in the bedroom. I need to watch like a half hour of TV while I am laying in bed before I go to sleep. FH is the same way.
