I decided to get this for FH as a wedding gift. Does anyone know anything about them...i.e. where a good dealership is and what kind is a good type to buy? I see a lot of Sea-doo, Kawasaki and Yamaha out there. I know NOTHING about them and I don't want to get taken at a dealership. Any advice?

Sea doo are the best and most relieable. The higher the number the faster they go!!! Great present. We are acutally thinkin about a used boat!!!

I would also recommend sea doo...there are places that sell motorcycles like the big shops that also sell jet ski's. Or boat shops by any place near water, find a place closest to you...The range is usually around $3000-6000 and for real good ones expect just a little bit higher

make sure he has a boating license! for some reason they now make everyone who wants to own a jet ski, and drive it have a boating license.

FH had one, but sold it to get my e-ring. I went out on it once and it was awesome. He had a Kawasaki 3 seater. It was $11k, and included the trailer, preservers, etc. He got it from Crazy Freddy's in Massapequa. He loved them! Great place to deal with!

We have all of that. He is an avid boater and I love it too so I figured this would make a nice addition. It's really more like a gift for both of us but under the guise it's for him!

FH brought me a Seadoo Bombardier a few years ago for my Bday.....let me just say it's awesome!!! I use it upstate on the lakes........ I thought they were banning them down here??? maybe not
