SWR: What about your FI did you love soo much and now drives you crazy??
I always thought my FI was sooo cute when he prepared for the holidays. He would put on a Santa hat and put on cheesy Xmas music and wrap gifts and bop his head back and forth. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world and now it makes me crazy!!!! I got home last night to holiday music blaring and I just felt like screaming 'Hello, you are not six anymore!!!' Sorry, I think the holidays are starting to get to me. LOL.

That's pretty funny .....i have to say there are things that he does that drive me up a wall but i never thought they were cute i think that i just have less tolerance for them now so i open my mouth - usually after the first 6 months things stop being :cute'

I also used to think it was soo cute that he took the time to wrap up so many gifts for me. He wrapped up swedish fish, he wrapped up a DVD, he wrapped up a battery for my camera, etc.... now (1) stop spending money are little nonsense and put it into one real gift, and (2) Don't wrap up candy... i get excited when I open gifts... and all that is inside is some container of candy from trader joes.
used to think it was cute that he loved to watch x-mas movies before Christmas. Ok, well 3 years later... I am SICK of The Santa Clause, Elf, and Christmas Vacation. I think I actually miss the Islanders on TV!!!

Aw, he's just in the Christmas spirit! Maybe you guys can do something Christmassy and start a new tradition, like bake cookies together or something like that.

Have I mentioned that 'Mrs. Claus' (i.e his mom) still gives her 32 year old some a gift on Christmas eve with new Pjs which he then changes into immediately?? How about the fact that he has recently purchased Snow Man dishtowels? I think I might be marrying the 'Elf'!
Oh, he also leaves cookies and milk for Santa and even writes a letter to santa!!!

Yeah, but lets go a little further. At easter, his mom hides eggs and, at the ripe old age of 31, he is still provided with a basket and collects eggs! He also still receives an Easter basket from the 'Bunny'. it isn't that he is in the holiday spirit... it is that he reverts back to being a little boy a little tooo much. I used to think it was so cute and so innocent, now I think he has some screws loose!!! hahahaha

You guys are so lucky that your men are into the holidays. My DH doesnt see the big deal of the christmas tree that took me 4 hours to light and decorate. Lets not get into wrapping gifts. He uses the wrapping paper like tiolet paper and he only does that when the gifts arent small enough to cram into my stocking (stocking=no wrapping needed). I so wish I had a santa husband than a grinch.

WOW - thats a bit out of controll - I mean my mom make all of us baskets - but she fills it with stockings, make up - things like that that you always need but your also 20 bucks shore at the end of the week - its kinda of a nice way to give a handout of you ask me - but the whole hidding of the eggs stopped when i was 8

We have christmas dishtowels and towels for the bathroom! And I also leave cookies and a letter for santa, but I suspect that my FBIL eats the cookies!!

He's very quiet and mellow - I am a mile a minute - he used to calm me so much that when we were first dating, all I did was sleep when I was with him (get your heads out of the gutter ladies...) He was so calming, I would just curl up next to him while watching a mivie and fall dead asleep - this was after a yr of being an insomniac, so that was really something...
Now, his mellowness drives me insane... Sometimes when I am upset or just really happy excited about something, he just stas so mellowwwww... I'm like - wake up already!!!

Well, okay the easter egg thing is a little odd. We all get baskets from FMIL (she loves that I'm Jewish so she doesn't have to share us for holidays!) but the only other thing we do on easter is eat. Okay, we also decorate eggs, but that's just plain fun.
