Is it weird that I'm kinda not excited? I almost feel like I just want it to be over, and I'm so over this by now. Is that normal, did anyone else feel that way, just like totally burned out from wedding stuff?
AND we're still homeless Please be honest with me...are we really screwed, like not going to be able to get furniture and an apartment in 2 months? Neither of us has ever done this before so I really don't know

I really didnt get excited until it hit October 1. but for the last 6 months i was done with it and really just wanted the vacation.

All you need is a mattress and a table at first...the rest you can worry about afterwards if anything

You dont really need furniture just a mattress really. The other stuff you can get as time goes by. You can def get an apt in 2 months but you need to really start looking now.
Oh and by the time its the week before the wedding you really will feel like you just want the day to be here.

Yeah, except that FH has this thing about chain stores and quality and all this stuff...super fussy. I'm literally begging to get a couch I love from there, and he won't let us buy it.

As far as apts....you cant really even look for one until you are a month or two out because people only give a month notice when they are leaving so landlords dont know they will have a vacancy any earlier.
I found my current place on a Monday and we moved in that Saturday so it can happen quick. As far as furniture you dont need eveything the day you move in. You need a bed...other than that you can get the rest over a couple of weeks

Yes, that is completely normal, at least it was for me. I so could not wait for the day to be with and over. Now, I am so sad that my wedding day is over! I have such a wonderful so much more than I could have ever imagined. My friend said to me that she was so depressed after my wedding and I laughed at her and thought I would never feel that way. Now I do.

Ali - when FH and I moved in... we had a grand total of.... 2 recliners (one was broken)... we had my queen size bed... and 3 dressers. We also had a TV. That was IT!!! Not even a pot to piss in or a kitchen table or a couch or utencils etc.
You can buy stuff as you go. You will most certainly be able to make due with what you have at the moment and buy stuff within the first two months. At least you will have more space to paint and stuff!! haha!!
What are you looking to move into? An Apt? A condo? A house? etc?? Have you been looking at places?
