table camera help for brides who were married already...
If you used cameras at the tables with scavenger hunts, did it work out? Did people actually do them? Is it worth my time to do it all?

I had about 8 kids at the wedding and made them each their own camera scavenger hunt. Some got some really good shots, some not so good. Alot forgot to use the flash.
It kept the kids busy, and they got a big bag of candy as a prize. And I got some shots of people that the photographer missed.
I plan on including some prints that they took in their thank you notes.
I would guess that the cost of the cameras + the developing was probably close to $50 and I got less than 10 good shots from it. If the kids didnt have so much fun with them I probably wouldnt have done them.

thanks girls! I'm not having any chidlren at our wedding so i think i might do what another girl said....put a card on each place setting that tells them to send their pics to our email...but in a more poetic way..

I did this. In the end it did not take to much time to set up. It was well worth it. I ended up with sooo many funny pictures. I made an album of just table pictures. I have about 300 pictures that look great. It was a good chance to end up with pictures so guests that I did not really get to spend to much time with. I got my cameras from walmart. They where fugi cameras they come in 2 packs and it was about $6 bucks for 2 cameras. The film came out perfect.
