TABLE NAME....

TABLE NAME....

WELL I WAS TRYING TO THINK OF SOMETHING THAT WE BOTH LIKE/LOVE FOR OUR TABLE NAMES INSTEAD OF JUST USING NUMBERS....WE CAME UP WITH ICE CREAM FLAVORS....WE LLOOOOVVVVE TO EAT ICE CREAM....GOOD IDEA? STUPID? LEMME KNOW WHAT U THINK (AT THIS POINT IF I DONT STOP EATING IT ALMOST EVERY NITE IM GONNA BE A BIG MARSHMALLOW AT THE WEDDING!)....!!! THANKS FOR YOUR OPINIONS

Personally I wouldn't have ice cream names as it reminds of me a bar mitzpah theme. BUT it isn't my wedding it is yours. If you like the idea and FH does too, then go for it!

PS: Using all CAPS = yelling and makes people not want to read/help.

Bar Mitzvahs (boys) and Bat Mitzvahs (girls) are usually themed parties for children coming of age at 13 in the Jewish faith. This is precisely why I will not have a themed wedding. I did my themed party already - 22 years ago.

I think it's a cute idea...and if you and your future husband like it that's what is most important.

I hope you will be having ice cream at the reception! I would be craving it all night looking at my table name!

I think it's cute, but we nixed doing the whole table name thing b/c we felt we would have to carry the theme throughout other things. We were originally going to do a whole table name thing based on locations we've visited - ie. Las Vegas, Hawaii, Italy, etc...but then felt we would have to incorporate other things....

Do whatever fits you and your FH the best. The day is about YOU afterall! I'm from NY (he lives here now) and FH is from Boston (I went to boston for college). We are doing famous street names for tables.

I don't think it is cheesy- FMIL came up with the idea we are (probably) using: birds as table names. (My dad is a HUGE birdwatcher, as is FH's grandfather, and FH goes with my dad all the time...)

each table will have a framed bird print on it, and the placecards will be little framed bird prints w/people's name on it...

you have to go with what YOU like!!
