those of you that did table names... what did you guys do? i was thinking, places we have been but i dont want them to be stupid, if you know what i mean.
any suggestions?

julykbride did table names of places they had been.... at each table there was a frame with a number on it, and a picture of them at that place, i thought iw as a great idea!

a friend of mine did tropical islands and she made palm trees out of construction paper with a styrofoam base as the island. She stuck toothpicks in it with the people's names sticking out for the place cards. really cute idea

I can't decide to use flower names, places that we have been, the traits we vow to one another, or Ford vehicle models (FH and I met because we both drive Ford trucks).

we are doing , areas in manhattan. We have Chelsea, 42nd street, central park, gramercy park, tribeca, soho, madison avenue, fifth avenue...etc. We came up with 21 names....,. we named my parents table after the place they met in nyc. I named my friends from work the park that's right by our school...etc. Manhattan is very sentimental to my Fh and I ...and plus it's going to make our guests, have something to talk about at the table.

my cousin did this. I Remember Imagine, Serendipity, Love, and thats all , but i loved the idea and I'm naming my tables as well, but i am working it all around either 1. a military theme 2. a disney theme.
