Table Names

Table Names

What do you think about naming each table after an island in the South Pacific? we are going to Bora Bora/Mooerea on our honeymoon but our wedding is not going to be a beach theme. Do you think I should do it anyway? TIA!

I think it's a good idea, doesn't necessarily have to be a beach theme. It's a honeymoon theme!

We are going to. FH and I live outside of DC, so we are doing DC theme tables...ie FH and I will be at the White House, and my parents will be at the Treasury Department.

We are doing flowers after my favors being a do it yourself garden type thingy....that makes a lot of sense, huh?

My favor is a packet of sunflower seeds in a terra cotta pot with a mini bag of soil and wrapped in organza...pic below

At first, we were doing the love themed names (love, adoration, etc), but after reading another thread about wedding themes, I changed my table names to butterflies

I wanted to do that but one of them is 'Passion' and FH refused to have that at our wedding!! He is such a pain!

A repeat of a former post. My table names will be:

'1'
'2'
'3'
'4'
'5'
etc.

I never heard of table names until I came to this site. It is a cute idea, just not my style.

My brother & his wife did tables of things that were important/special to them:

their 2 pets (with pics of them)
sorority table
special places they been
Engagement table (RI)
etc.

I thought it was really great.

This was 3 years ago & the exact tables are slipping my mind, but you get the idea
