You can do romantic vacation spots...cute love song names...or you can even do something that has to do with your favorite sports theme's (i had seen someone who had done table names as the names of old school yankee players...) hth

What about using table numbers on vellum over some of your engagement photos?

We are doing different types of Irish Whiskys for our table names. We thought it would be cute and it fits with our theme!

For our wedding, we did places we've been to together on vacation. We printed out pictures and on the frame it said a little story about the trip and what we did.
We had tables like:
Belize Cancun Alaska Las Vegas, etc...

For my wedding I made table numbers with the different wedding traditions..like for example- 'Garter Toss' , 'Bridal Bouquet'...I also put the meaning of the tradition and how it got started..I wish I had pictures of it...They were different...

I am having table letters instead of numbers. I originally wanted names but with letters my guests can come up with any name they want with it. Its fun and different.

My friend had names of newspapers from cities across the country since her and FH were both reporters. I'll probably have historical buildings for my tables since FH and I are both architects. Maybe you can be creative with your career too.

we used the word Love in all different languages... here's what they looked like..
I finally got my FH to agree to something other than numbers (although we will actually keep the number but also have a name associated with it).
We're going to have tables named after love songs.

We named each table after a place that was significant to us and included a blurb about our experiences there. All of the guest loved it! We ordered them online from documentsanddesigns.com
