Table Names-how did you do it?

Hi, ladies,

To any of you who did or are doing table names, how did you go about making the actual card for the table? FH loves dragons and although it is not an all-dragon theme, we do have dragon bottle openers for favors and I am surprising him with a dragon cake topper. Was thinking it would be nice to find pix of all different colored dragons and name the tables Blue Dragon, Red Dragon, etc. Once I find the pix, how do I set it up to go on tables? Should I use frames?

We took the theme of our wedding - Star Wars- and named the tables after the planets in the SW solar syatem. I then typed them up with the name at the top and a brief description of the planet (such as: Tatooine: The home planet of the Skywalker family). I then put them in silver frames and hot glued a star to the upper left hand corner. They turned out very nice!

For dragons, maybe you could do dragons from around the world, and use the native word for it as the table name?

World dragons

I would put the picture in a nice, weathered or antique looking frame...and depending on the characterists of each individual dragon, maybe add a tiny little extra relating to that?
