Table names instead of numbers

I just wanted to post a kind of warning. DH and I went to a Bat Mitzvah on sat., and the tables were candies, i.e. we were at the crunch bar table. It was really cute, but the older people there had a very hard time figuring out what was going on and DH had to help some of them to their seats, b/c they didn't understand what was going on. Maybe those who are doing this could have family members or friends 'look out' for confused people and help.

Ah good point. That is why I am going to do names w/numbers.

my cousin was going to do the same thing, but I warned her, its not like you can find table 5 b/c its next to table 6, with my relatives, nobody could find table names unless they are alphabetical............and i am not even sure that i could figure it out myself!

maybe you could do the names and include in smaller print the actual table number to also help guide people?

I was wondering about this. I wanted to do names as well and I'm concerned people will be walking around clueless trying to find their table because they wont be in any order. Guess I better think a little more about this.
