Table number???

Table number???

For table numbers I want to have a calligrapher write the names of things that are meaningful to FH and I and then put them in frames, but I'm afraid frames will sit too low on the table and no one will be able to see them.

What are you girls doing for DIY table numbers? Are you worried about the height??

I was going to do something similar to what you're doing as well. I don't think people will have any issues.

I was thinking this too. I like the frame idea and feel its low too.

I dont like the metal long stick things or whatever they are called.. The standard ones that RH have.

I am using 5x7 profile frames that will sit nicely at the base of the centerpieces. They are not raised up off the table at all, but I dont think its going to be a problem

Has anyone ever been to a wedding where they noticed, one way or the other?

I just feel like in a big crowded room it is nice to be able to scan the table and be like - oh, table #3 is over there...etc.

Sigh - the random things we worry about!

i am doing this as well and had not really thought about it...i think i will probably use something very similar to what the hall would use if they were just using their generic numbers for tables

No. Can't say I've ever really thought too much about table numbers at weddings I've been to. Although I know I usually walk around looking for my table; I've never been able to just scan the room and find it.
