Table Number DIY - help please

Ok, so I purchased 5x7 frames for my diy table numbers.

I have a few questions:

1-what size font do you think is large enough for the actual number?

2-what type of paper should I print on?

any pictures would be helpful too - THANKS SO MUCH !!

What program were you planning on using (word, powerpoint, publisher)???

Did you want the frames tall or long?

Probably word - that's most easiest for me.

The picture frames go long-ways.

Oh, great - now card stock I could get in any craft store, right?

Would I purchase 5x7 carstock or purchase regular 8x11 and then cut down?

Im using picture frames too. I think I will print on photo paper either from shutterfly or walgreens/cvs since they are cheap.

I was thinking of doing that too, but I'm sooo confused...

I think printing on photo paper will show more. Its not as nice as regular paper, unless you get fancy cardstock.

You can get a ream of cardstock from Staples for a pretty good price, instead of paying per sheet at a craft store.

Good Luck!

I think the best thing is to test it out...type '2' in different fonts & sizes (font size 100, even though it may not be there you can just type it in) cut them out and just put them in the frame so you can get a better look, then use the good paper when you have made a final decision
