or does it have to be:

I like the way it looks when you spell out the numbers. I think using your engagement pics is a great idea!
Did you ever consider using names for the tables instead of numbers? I am going to name my tables after the elements....lol it's good feng shui. My centerpieces have the 5 elements represented in them, so it goes along with my feng shui theme. (Wood, Earth, Fire, Metal, Water)

you can certainly do either or but the numerical '11' will be easier to see from a distance. You don't want guests going up to each table squinting to read

Can be anything you want! I am using 'Table 11' but both look good.
