Anyone have pics they want to share with what they are using for their table numbers or names - I am clueless as to what we are going to do...

You could do a theme, like for example name sof wines, or places that you love, maybee favorite things that are personal to you two...

We were thinking about doing names and associating them with our relationship - like Love, humor, unity, Hope etc... but i am trying to decide what to use as holders

This may be a dumb question but when you name the tables after words do you still include a number ? Because when i go to a wedding I always find the table 'cause they're in chronological order....so if it's just a word how do you know where your table is ??

Not a dumb question - but if you use names you do not include numbers - I guess it is the thrill of trying to find the table - but I think we are going to try to put it in some type of alphabetical order.

We are photshopping the numbers into a black and white picture of our dog, so it will sort of look like she is holding the #s in her mouth.

Im not doing this, i dont know what im doing yet, but i thought it looked nice...I think it was all famous movie couples, like love stories and they used the couples as the pics for their numbers
I also love the idea of the couple taking pics of themselves at their favorite places holding up a number
FH and I are having an asian theme to our reception so we are naming our tables words like happiness, love, devotion, ect and we are having the table cards printed in chinese and english and using the chinese symbol as well.
we are doing 'tropical drinks' and have NO beach theme i just like them hahaha something like 'maui waui'' haha im a werido but obsessed with pretty and funny named drinks

i got this idea from someone on this site, we are obsessed with our boxer so we are in the process of trying to get the pics done! our practice pics are in my centerpiece album...still needs work :)

I like the idea of table names. However I have read in several bridal magazines that you should also include the number. In large weddings (200+ people), you are going to have LOTS of people stumblign around and I gurantee someone will get confused, sit at the wrong table and then confusion will erupt-example: many of us include relatives, which includes the elderly and absent-minded (I have several of both categories!) so though the name or a picture of a place that is special to you and the FH would make a unique table label, I would put the number in there somewhere as well because people are more familiar with them.

I have a boxer too and I know FH would love anything that would involve our dog. We're thinking about making boxer bride and groom cake toppers!

i used the e-pics we got and added table numbers to them. they're in my album.
I volunteer at an animal shelter, so all our table numbers are also pictures of current and former shelter residents--we included a number and the dog's name. Our favor is a donation to the shelter too.

What an awesome idea! So original- and I love the donation favor too!
Our tables are named/numbered after Yankee players. Can't wait til my sister designs the table numbers- I haven't a clue what they're gonna look like. Probably pinstriped or something.

Wow, everyone is so creative! Love the doggie ideas! We saw someone on here did pictures of numbers written in the sand, and FH loved that idea. We got engaged on the beach...so we'll have to try that out when it gets a little warmer, lol! I was also thinking of doing something with our engagement pics (if we ever take them)!!!

We met on a cruise....so we did Islands of the Carribean. The placecard holders were palm trees...and we put: Mr. and Mrs. Jones will cruise to Jamaica #1
We put numbers and names to make it easier to find. The table names were in a 5x7 frame of a pic of palm trees and the name of the island written in bright pink.
