table place cards- how to word them???

If it is a couple but they are not married, both names go on the same card right? If so, which names goes first- the girl's or the guy's. Thanks!

If you are closest to him or he is the one that is your friend

Mr Smith and Guest

If you are closest to her or she is the one that is your friend


Ms Smith and Guest

If i knew both people, I would but the persons name who you are closer too first!
Ex...Bm and her boyfriend
