Table runners, NEED HELP!!!

Ok I need brown table runners for my e-party in 3 weeks...I went to a party rental place, that does linens chairs and everything but NO table runners, I've been checking online and looked at dozens and dozens of party rental places and no table runners. Then i looked at places that sell them even and its hard finding a simple one colored runner, and some ive seen are over $100...the ones that are alot cheaper like $10-20 they dont have the color i want lol.

Does anyone know where i can get cheap ones, bc i will have no use for 15-17 brown runners after the party, or if you know a place that will rent them.

People have suggested going to a fabric store and buying the fabric, has anyone done this? I dont know how i would be able to cut the fabric all nice lol, im horrible at these things.

Any help would be greatly suggested. TIA

I have never done this, so I may not be much help. Did you check Kohl's, Walmart, or Linen's and things? They might have them at one of these places.

Thank you so much ladies. I will check the sites of Kohls, walmart and linen and things...I did a search and couldn't find brown runners in bulk.

My moms friend gave me a bunch of addresses for fabric stores that are downtown and are pretty cheap, maybe i'll bring it to the seamstress who is currently doing my dress or maybe even the dry cleaners...If i had a sewing machine i think it would be alot easier but eh ill do one of the above mentioned...Again thank you so much

this is what i would suggest:

buy the material, make sure you measure well so as not to buy too much extra material.

you don't even have to know how to sew. just buy wonder under or stitch witchery (i think that's what they're called). it's an iron on fusing. it looks like a dryer sheet on a tape dispenser.

you put it where you would 'hem' the material, and just iron it. it melts and holds the fabric together as if you had sewn it.

Thank you! Yeah, our colors are chocolate brown and light blue/aqua so I really want to do the choc. brown runners.
