Do you have a layout from the RH?
Do you mean who to sit with who or like a chart for you to keep track?

I made two lists. Mine and his. Each list is broken down into family and friends. Then I got a plan from the RH. I played around with the names until I felt everyone was sitting with people they could have fun getting drunk with and then I highlighted the names on the list to make sure I didn't forget anyone.

Our RH gave us a layout of the room and where the tables will go, etc. and all we have to do is actually put people at the tables

What is your minimum and how many people sit can fit at a table??
Our minimum is 150 and 10 sit at a table...so figure 15 tables...we added 1 so it came out to be 16...8 on each side

Get a layout from the hall & I would 100% ask my RH how many people they recommend at each table, the max and the min. This way once you start and if you have a few you want to squeeze in here and there, you make sure you have enough room at each table.
I have my guest list on an excel spreadsheet and it is also separated from FH and My guests. Once I get all the RSVP's in, I plan on color coding each guest into family, friends, etc.. and doing it that way.
