OK.. So my engagement party was in March- The dress then then had a stretch waist and top so it still fits and actually looks 10 x better than it did that day! lol... I have one of my second cousins weddings tomorrow! I bought a dress today that is super cute but I kind of feel like it is a waste since I am shedding lbs. I literally have not one other event coming up that I will have a chance to wear it to again before I will go down another size probably. Is it tacky to wear the dress I wore to my engagement party?

Re: Tacky?
The dress I'm buying for my shower is a little over $200. I'm justifying it by wearing it to my friends wedding 3 weeks later. lol i don't care and the only person who will see me in it twice is her - we don't have mutual friends really... just a couple people.

Re: Tacky?
Yea I have decided I am going to go for it.. My family is not the type to talk anyway. Plus her wedding isnt the traditional type at a hall. its in tribeca a sit down dinner at a restraunt with dancing and then they rented out a roof top bar in midtown manhatten for the afterparty woooo

even better totally wear it again. If you want you could also wear a shawl, scarf you know what I mean one of those things.

Re: Tacky?
Go for it. Wear different accesories and wear your hair different. You'll feel like it's a new dress.

Re: Tacky?
I never wore my eparty dress again and now it's too big :/ I will definitely get it taken in though, I love that dress....the only reason I would wear it again though is because I had a fairly small eparty (about 40 people) so not that many people have seen me in the dress...
