I have been going back and forth with the idea of having a chocolate fountain...I am trying to work around an elegant themed wedding and fear that this will appear tacky...however, my intial feeling was that this was something fun for the guests enjoy in addition to the cake. BE HONEST...tacky or tasteful?

i LOVE chocolate fountains!!! i have 2 at my wedding lol everyone always flocks over to them theyre amazingly delicious!!!!!!!!!!! food is not tacky lol

Sure, a lot of people have done it...but IMO chocolate fountains just never get old. Who doesn't like melted chocolate and goodies to dip in it, you know?!

I think they're great and I'm soooo having one!
Now, my mother on the other hand, thinks they're tacky. That's Mom though. I love it, so that's what counts right?

i think the fountain is fine but if your not in love w/the idea I was at a wedding 2 weeks ago & there was a chocolate dipping station. Instead of the fountain there were heated bowls of chocolate & you dipped your whatever in it.
