For our cake - my FH and I cannot decide on which topper we love - so I had an idea...what if on each layer where most people do flowers - we do cute little toppers???
The Steelers one would be on the very top..
The smurfs would be on the second from the top... - one at each edge...
The car would be on the third tier from the top..
The ducks would be at the bottom...(unless we can find the pez wedding people...then we'd use them!).
All of the things have cute little meanings for us - so it would be completely representing us...
So - what do you think???? The cake would be white...so the decorations would add the color...
they are so cute! I like the idea of using all of them, it will really decorate the cake nicely!

I think its cute especially if each thing has special meaning to you and FH...thats definitely personalizing things!

I defintely need to use my ducks - they mate for life - so that's a nice symbolic thing..
The car is because every year since we've been together (since 2002) we've taken a road trip as one of our vacations. We've been as far as Minnesota and Kansas... :)
I would pick the one that has the most meaning and is the most special to you both. I think that going with all of them just shows that you couldn't make up your mind (which is generally my problem) but for my wedding (which yours obviously is not) I believe that less is more and simple elegance and all that. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I wouldn't put them all on the cake. It would look very random, especially to people who don't understand the meaning behind them.
Are you having dessert table or VH? Maybe you could place them around the table.

If I went to a wedding and saw the different toppings I would think it was really cute and that each had a special meaning. I like it. It's your day so you can do what you want. I wish I had the guts the think outside of the box. My mother would probably be mortified if I suggested it so I probably wouldn't do it.
Will you incorporate these ideas into any other aspect of the wedding?
