Newsday just released the Toxicology reports for that woman driving on the Taconic Parkway (not officially confirmed though.) She was DRUNK and HIGH. I am so upset and I am sick to my stomach. I just can't believe it. Everyone I work with is in shock. We all thought she had a medical condition. Those poor children.... Seven innocent people died for no reason. What a disgusting sad excuse for a human being! If you are going to go for a drunken and high joy ride don't take 5 innocent children with you.
OMG!!!!!!!!!! i really thought she had a medical problem too. I can't believe it.
Its one thing to risk your own life but to risk the lifes of others is disgusting...esp when its innocent children
edited to add: The report actually says that this is just based on sources...the Toxicology Reports actually havent been out yet. I sure hope these sources were incorrect!!

That is the saddest thing I have heard in a real long time. I think everyone was under the assumption she was actually sick or something. Those poor children and those poor parents who are still here with us and have to go on after loosing their babies

My coworker and I were just talking about this. All along in the investigation, I just thought it would be some weird medical condition that was never diagnosed. In fact, FH said over the weekend 'it's probably something medical and they'll make an episode of 'House' loosely based on it'
How terrible and tragic. From what I read, it sounds like she was driving like a maniac for awhile. Those poor kids must've been so scared And the three men in the other car that died...how terrible that it all occured because of someone's poor choices.

OMG that is horrible, i thought she was sick??? they said she called her brother a half hr or hr before the accident to tell him she wasnt feeling well, *** she was drunk and high??? This is disgraceful.

OMG...how devastating, I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes right now after reading that. That makes me so sick, I seriously thought that it was her diabetes that caused her to become disoriented. Those poor innocent children died for a sick womens stupid decision. How sad

i have been following this accident since the day it happened.
the camp site she started at is located right near my parents house & at least 100 people in my family drive those same roads as her every weekend.
i have been so sick over this. i refuse to drive up there for the rest of the summer. i can't believe what poor judgment people have.
if you are going to make such horrible decisions don't hurt innocent children.

Oh God i just got this awful pain in my stomach hearing this news. How can someone do something like that!! Everyone died in such a horrible way and I cant believe someone would be so selfish. Im in tears!
