Tacos - with turkey meat

OK - this might be a dumb question - but keep in mind I am a complete cooking novice.

My DH would like to try tacos for dinner tonight with ground turkey. OK - no problem - buy taco shells, lettuce, ground turkey meat, tomatos..... Except - how do I cook the ground turkey meat for tacos - what do I put in for flavor?

Put the taco seasoning mix in with the ground turkey meat and cook it the same as you would with ground beef

LOL Nikki - you are assuming I could cook ground beef!

Actually I did cook tacos last night and I am happy to say they were a success!!!!

I just put the turkey in a pan and turned on the heat! I was worried that the turkey would stick to the pan but all was well. Then at the end I put in some Taco seasoning I found at the store - YUM.

I make turkey tacos all the time. I use the regular taco seasoning mix.

I love them....FYI, watch the fat content though,,,,some turkey has ground skin and fat in it,,you might as well then use ground beef. they have lower fat version.

Works for chili, and sloppy joes too------YUMMY!
