Taffeta

As I am searching I feel like a lot of bridesmaids gowns are taffeta. Do we like that?? I know it looks shiny and is it me or does sometimes it come acrossed wrinkled?

i wasnt crazy about the idea of taffeta - but BL makes BM dresses in taffeta and satin - we ended up with a dress that comes in both fabrics in the satin side.. i would check out his website - there is just SOOO much - i am not a fan - i feel it looks crinkled and it drives me nuts the sound it makes when it touches together...

my girls dresses come in Satin Faced Taffeta which looks a lot better than just regular Tafetta

Ture, for my friends wedding we wore satin faced and it looked pretty. Who knows I am just deciding what I want to go with..big decisions..LOL

My girls are wearing taffeta, we all like it. Plus it is a lighter material for the summer.

I really dislike taffeta. I am going with satin. Taffeta always seems STIFF to me. There are plenty of dresses out there that are not taffetta. I am getting mine at Priscilla's of Boston and they are actually cheaper than many of the other designers out there.

my bridal dress is taffeta and it is gorgeous. i like the extra shine to it. and it is a light fabric for summer. when i tried on satin dresses they weighed me down and they were wayyyyyyyyyyy to heavy.

I actually hated it and then I tried on my dress and didnt even realize it was taffeta and didn't care because it was BEAUTIFUL

i love taffeta...i love the way it looks and feels...it is much less stiff than satin and it is also a million times lighter...i was deciding between taffetta and chiffon for my bridesmaids...we went with chiffon just because we loved the dresses but i definitely LOVE taffeta!
