I found a Casablanca dress that I loved but it was made of Taffeta. Wondering if anyone else bought a dress in Taffeta and if it would photograph strange, like have dark shawdows or catch the light strangely?
I have seen pictures of friends in bridesmaids dresses made of taffeta that looked wierd in the photos.
Anyone else buy a Tafffeta dress or one by Casablanca?
It was a little more than I wanted to spend so I need some reassurance!

Re: Taffeta wedding dress - photograph funny?
I bought a taffetta dress from Demetrios, but I had originally liked alot of the Casablanca dresses. Which one were you thinking of?
I loved that dress!! Looked great on, but it just didn't have enough detail for me. Have you tried it on? The dresses will wrinkle, but the material has that look anyway, so it won't look bad. Keep me posted. Good luck deciding!

P.S. How much was it? Casablanca dresses run low.

I tried it on yesterday at RK Bridal for $750.
I am obsessed and can't stop thinking, so I am going to go back and buy it.
Good tip about the wrinkling but I know Satin wrinkles also, so what can you do.

When I was at Lillette's a few weeks ago, the girl in the dressing room next to me had that dress on (she's an LIW bride too actually - Hi, Kate! ) and it's gorgeous. For $750, too? How could you go wrong?
It's a REALLY popular dress - try a Google search to find brides who wore it at their weddings, and look through their pics (try entering the style number into google, and you'll probably come up with pics from at least one real wedding) and you can see how it photographs.
