Tahiti and Bora bora -PRICE QUESTIONS

Hello all.
My fh and I were thinking of going to tahiti and specifically bora bora. He tried pricing it online and said that the most decent deal is $4000 per person for flight and hotel. That doesn't include food drink or activities. The honeymoon would be in July/August and for 8-10 days. Does this sound right? TIA

yeah that sounds about right...i posted yesterday prices for different package deals for tahiti...one was about $6000 and the other was about $4000

We did have some meals included but if you go to Bora Bora it's better to do half board and go to the local restaurants for dinner.

Pricing sounds pretty good. FP HMs usually cost around $10k depending on how long and where you stay.

I found it easier to use a travel agent bc they can arrange all your transportation within the islands. It was my first time using a travel agent and I saved about $2k.

Thanks everyone. I guess I was hoping that FH was wrong. The pictures of FP look so beautiful, but I don't think I can do it at this time. I guess I just have to hope I win a contest or lotto!
