Tahiti - anyone been there or doing it for their honeymoon?
Where are you staying? How many nights? Amenities? Which Island? Pros/Cons? Any other insight you can provide please... Costs?

Here's our itinerary 1 night Sheraton Tahiti in Lagoonview room 4 nights sofitel Deluxe Beach bungalow 5 nights Bora Bora Pearl Overwater premium. all transfers are included, air and interisland flights, and the 4x4 safari jeep tour in Bora Bora

check on the honeymoon board/ tahiti thread you will find plenty of info
the only CON about it is its expensive i guess a nice 7 day stay starts off around $7,000

We're going in August. Direct flight on Air Tahiti Nui from JFK to Tahiti (it's about 12 1/2 hours) 1 night Tahiti (b/c we get in around 1am) 4 nights Morea Pearl in a Garden Bungalow w/pool fly to Bora Bora 5 nights Bora Bora Pearl (2 nights in Garden bungalow w/pool and last 3 nights in overwater bungalow)

I was thinking of doing a cruise. You get to visit different island without unpacking. It's still expensive. Check Princess Cruise Lines.

We went for our HM in June '06. It was the most amazing trip and worth every single penny!

This was our exact itinerary (except we stayed in a beach bungalow at the moorea pearl)!! You're going to love the pearl resorts!
