Good for you, I told FH our wedding is not a jamboree with kids. Only children is the ones in the bridal party. I know two of my nephews are leaving after the introduction. My other neice and nephew have to stay (live OOT, but in the bridal suite with a sitter. My suite isn't large enough to have many kids in it. Kids don't eat free either, and FH and I can't afford to feed all of them. I hope I am not coming off nasty. I am not sure whats going to happen with my other two FG's (FH's little cousins).

I had this same problem..my FMIL said, 'Well of course you're inviting and family if they have children.. what do you expect them to do with the kids?' I flat out told her, no kids..and I am not putting and family. If someone has a huge problem, they should contact me..but the thing is if you make it for one you make them all have kids!
Definitely make sure that your FH backs you...very important!

Stand your ground! The only kids I want are my sister's 3 kids and FBIL's 2 kids. That's it!!! I know I'm going to get a hard time for this, but I need to stand my ground too.

i don't get it either, hubnert, no kids, means no kids means no kids. not one cousins and not the others, but none, period. my fmil tried to pull the 'well i hope they don't get mad' act and i was like i don't care if they do, they are under 18 and therefore not invited.
fmil said that to me too.... they are going to get mad.. i was like whatever!!!
