OH GEEZ!! I feel your pain. I've been through this with FMIL and FFIL but I dont think I've felt the wrath of their 'kid requests' yet. Just stand your ground and make sure FH backs you up so you dont look like a bridezilla (i've already been accused) ![]()

i am in the same situation and i have to stand my ground too.. she knew that we are not having kids at the wedding or the shower and when my sister called her to get the addresses for my shower, she snuck in all these kids names. I was like.. oh no!!!! Stand the ground.. good for u!

Stay strong and stand your ground. If you give in then it will be nothing but trouble. You may end up insulting some people and you don't want that! Talk about it with FH and see if he will reason with FMIL. Hang in there!!!![]()

I don't get these people! Seriously! I'm at 64 days left and they are still coming up with things out of the air like oh yeah I want this!??? Stand your ground and say no! If it was discussed and ended there is no reason to bring it up again!

i don't get it either, hubnert, no kids, means no kids means no kids. not one cousins and not the others, but none, period. my fmil tried to pull the 'well i hope they don't get mad' act and i was like i don't care if they do, they are under 18 and therefore not invited.

i mean, dont get me wrong, i LOOOOVEEEE kids, but i cant see 7/5/12 yr olds at a wedding..what are they going to do? wont they be bored??? i was never invited to any weddings when i was younger....besides that, u have to pay all this money for them !!! i mean, really.....
his first cousins we DO see a lot, but one of them is a TERROR..i can just imagine him dippin his hands in the chocolate fountain and then spreading them on my dress lol.
his 2nd cousins we never see them...and when we do, they never even say hi to us.

he was w/us when we were talkin..n he got mad at his mother n told her straight out, NO KIDS...but she kept talkin over him

I feel your pain. I had one of my BM's drop out because we aren't inviting kids and her daughter will be 3. ANd she's prego again. No kids means NO KIDS!!! You have to stand your ground or people will walk all over you. Good luck!

If you and FH decided no kids, then no kids. We aren't having kids either. Both of our sisters have children, but we wanted and adult wedding.
As much as some people wanted to bring their kids to the wedding, there are as many who said they didnt want their kids there.
