i agree...that wasn't nice at all. I don't think she should've kept it to herself because not for nothing, if you're close enough to her to invite her to your bparty, chances are you will realize she's at mohegan the following weekend and it would suck more to find out on your own. I'll come to your bparty if ya want!!!

Is she a close friend? I would be upset or a little hurt but would get over it really quickly as she doesn't sound like a great friend so you don't need her anyway. You responded appropriately and if she is worth two cents she will call you now that she has your number. If she doesn't call you, seriously, she isn't worthy of being your friend. I am so sorry you had to deal with this!

i'm sorry i def agree she should have kept it to herself. Saying she can't go to AC because she's hitting 2 other places to gamble just makes it worse.

btw.. i think what u wrote back is perfect.. gets the message across in a subtle way and it keeps things from turning into a big fight.. just enough there for her to get the idea

Wow you're a lot nicer than I would be about it. Three of my girls can't make it with us to Miami, one of who is my MOH, but she has a small child at home with no one to stay with her, one lives out of the country and the third one just purchased a home so I know her money is tight, but they did offer an alternative. They offered to take me out instead. If this is really a good friend, maybe you two could meet for drinks or something instead, but honestly the way she replied was pretty rude. There were other ways to do this.

Yeh i agree with her. Sounds like she DID have you number but foing it easy if she just wrote you a note. That way she doesn't have to hear your voice and you asking her why?? That *****. I know you wanted her to be there but she proably doesn't want the same. Sorry getting married lets you see things in a bigger picture.
