Taking My Measurements & BM Dress Shopping Tonight!

So tonight I'm going with my mom to Lillette's to get measured for my gown and place the official order! I already put down a deposit, but we had been waiting until I got my shoes to get measured for the gown so that I'd be the right height.

Then my two sisters (MOH's), FSIL, and FMIL are meeting me there so we can start looking at BM dresses! I'm very excited, yet slightly nervous b/c my two sisters and FSIL all have VERY different tastes. But I'm really interested to see how much of an opinion FMIL does or doesn't give.

Hopefully we'll find the right dress for the girls tonight! Wish me luck!

ETA: I never thought I'd be so excited to actually have someone take my measurements! All my life I've tried to stay AWAY from the measuring tape!

Really?? Gerri told me they wouldn't even measure me for the dress until October, and I'm only getting married a month after you...I guess I'll have to have a talk with her next week when I go there.

My gown takes like 9-10 months to come in because Eve of Milady gowns are all hand-made. Geri told me not to order it any later than July so that we could have it in by March. It could just be because of the designer.

Hmmmmm...I think her and I will have a talk then. I really want my dress at the store no later than the beginning of May so I'd have to order it like Sept...

Good luck witht he BM dresses that to me is the most stressful part of the wedding 1 girl has order hers and both my sisters are going tomorrow I have3 more who still have to go ! Have fun
