My little man - Corrigan is really sick. Nothing too major because he is eating and very nasty as usual but he has a ear infection which wens he has a upper respitory infection most likely. They get puss in the ear. But since turtles don't have a 'ear' but a pad that is like a birds ear you can't drain it unless you slice the head open and drain out the puss.
I AM TERRIFIED FOR HIM... he might need antibiotics too. So now i am spending $100 and it was supposed to go to the wedding but i can't let my baby suffer. SO he is going to vet soon and I pray he will be okay.
Here he is now - big lump on his right side.
I will tell you how it comes and if not too graphic what he looks like after.

Update: I just got back he had to get emergency surgery it was REALLY BAD. He had a big problems and parasites and I am just so upset. I was crying and i felt stupid crying. It is costing me $500 to get it all done and fh understands but he is not happy that i just blew $1k in a week between my cars tires having nails all in them.. and now my turtle.
So i get him back tuesday.. and i have to give him shots and stuff. I am just at a loss now. He was tortured with getting his head pulled out and held...then shots then having his mouth yanked open and held open.. just torture but he had to have it happen. Now his face gets cut open. I am devastated. I will give you all updates as soon as i find out. He gets operated tonight or first thing in the morning.

wow $500! but if thats your baby, you have to do what you have to do. hope his surgery goes well!

yea anything considered a exotic (cat and dogs are the only thing not exotic) its much more expensive. Usually double of what they charge for a cat and/or dog.
