Does anyone have any experience with this? I did a quick search on here and came up with an excellent website that pretty much explains everything, but I was just wondering if anyone had actually been there to talk about how it went and how the pics came out...TIA!
oh thanks for this info. i was curious about this too! This is a great site! I didnt even know you needed a permit for central park.

we took our e-pics in Central Park -- but we didn't get a permit or anything. you can see our pics in my album -- there are so many great places to take pictures there!!

My friend got married last summer in central park and then took pictures! They came out GORGEOUS!!!! DEFENITELY get the permit. An officer came and actually asked to see the permit. Another couple taking wedding pictures were told they had to stop because they had no permit I bet they were angry!!!! You don't want to take any chances on your wedding day!!

We took our pics in Central Park and didn't get a permit....but if that is the case, then better safe than sorry. I think it's a great location for pics bc there are so many lil niches and scenic areas from the tunnels to the gardens from the cityscape in the background, you fer a good variety of pictures
