I'm so sorry you are going through this sweetie! Why don't you call Capture the Moment. A couple of ladies on this site have booked with them and their quotes are posted on their site. Don't get discouraged. Where one door closes another opens. I only say that from experience because I had a little hiccup with wedding planning myself.

Thank you for your encouragement! And I checked with Capture the Moment too but even they are over our budget. It's really going to be tough for us since photographers generally charge a lot if they're well established in the business. And weddings are priced even higher so it sucks. We may just have to opt for someone who is not as professional, has no reviews or anything smh. The chances of us getting a deal like we did now are extremely slim. Guess we just have to work with what we got at this point and hope for the best...

Re: Taking pictures Pre-Ceremony vs. during Cocktail hr...

This is not a big issue. Photographer's just want to do what is easiest.

If you want that big moment, you tell your photographer that all family and bridal party pictures will be taken separately prior to the ceremony.

You will miss a bit of cocktail hour in order to take all the photos together that you want.

You do what is important to you.
