We are waiting until after...I do not want FH to see me until I walk down the aisle. We actually made our church ceremony 30 minutes earlier so we would have a little more time for pictures.

Were doing pics before hand. We are getting married at the RH and dont want to miss the CH

Same here
I know people that did this and they said that even though they saw each other before the ceremony that it was still just as thrilling seeing each other at opposite ends of the aisle! So, as much as I wanted the first time FH saw me to be when I walked in, it'll still be special

We are taking pics beforehand. Our ceremony is at the RH and we would like to get pics out of the way and enjoy our CH. I am looking forward to having pics of our first moment seeing each other. I think it will be special no matter what.

I am doing this so that I can enjoy my CH and really enjoy everything and not be away taking pics. Go for it!!!

I don't think I'm going to take pics before hand. Our ceremony starts at 3, and the CH hours starts at 7.30.

That SOUNDS like it should be more than enough time, but the ceremony is Greek Orthodox, which I've heard are at least a full hour, if not more. Factoring in time to do receiving line, taking church pictures, transit from Greenlawn to Holbrook (1/2 hour at least on a good day with no traffic), and the fact that VL requires you there an hour before CH start and only gives you an hour prior for pics...it may be cutting it a lot closer than I want!

What do you all think?

we will not be and as a result, we will miss the majority of our CH, but im going to try to get it done as fast as possible. we are lucky enough to be getting day after pics so most of our day of's will be of us and the BP, which will hopefully move along quickly

I am doing mine before hand. I just think it is best to enjoy your cocktail hour and not have to stress about pictures. Also, someone said something about not wanting people to drink before pictures- that s a good idea.

I would definately recommend taking pics prior,. u save time and you get alot of pics out of the way,,especially the ones you want to do with your family and extended family,, but its really a personal choice,, but if you want to attend your cocktail hr I will definately recommend it.
